One-Step Lasagna
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 32 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 12 oz. carton creamed cottage cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 9 pieces lasagna noodles, uncooked
- 12 oz. sliced Mozzarella cheese or 3 c. shredded
- 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- Brown hamburger; stir in sauce, water, basil and oregano. Simmer 5 to 10 minutes.
- Combine cottage cheese and egg.
- In an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan, layer 1/3 noodles, 1/3 sauce, 1/3 cottage cheese mixture, 1/3 Mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat; end with Mozzarella on top.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan.
- Cover with foil and bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Let stand for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
