Wanna Be A Ziti
- 2 cups Elbow Pasta
- 3 whole Aidell's Chicken Sausage
- 1 teaspoon Minced Garlic
- 1/2 cups Red Wine
- 3 Tablespoons Chopped Basil
- 1 cup Pasta Sauce, Brand Of Choice
- 1/2 cups Grated Parmesan Cheese, Divided
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Boil water and cook pasta according to package directions in a medium-sized pot.
- When cooking is complete, drain and keep pasta in the pot.
- In a separate small skillet, slice sausages into bite-size pieces and heat up on medium to medium-high heat.
- Add in minced garlic and wine, simmering until the sausage is throughly cooked.
- When sausage is cooked, pour sausage, garlic and wine over the drained pasta.
- Incorporate basil, sauce, and 1/3 cup of the grated parmesan cheese into the pasta and sausage.
- When all stirred together, place in a medium casserole dish and top with remaining parmesan cheese.
- Bake uncovered until cheese melts and all the ingredients are heated through, about 20 minutes.
- Serve at once and enjoy with salad and some garlic bread.
- You wont be disappointed.
