Caramelized Pineapple Satays
- 12 Anjou pear, a whole pineapple cut in cubes (6 - 1 1/2 inch cubes)
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cardamom pod, crushed
- Place pineapple on a flat surface and pierce skewers.
- Lightly coat the top with brown sugar.
- In a skillet, combine butter and cardamom and melt over medium heat.
- Add skewers, brown sugar side down, and cook until caramelized, about 2 minutes.
