refried black beans
- 3 cup washed black beans
- 8 cup water
- 1/2 medium onion
- 1 tbsp salt
- 2 tbsp fresh manteca
- in pressure cooker cook beans with salt water and onion for about 45 minutes
- in fry pan heat up manteca and add a couple small slices of onion , when onion starts browning start adding the beans slowly and carefully because it can jump.
- when you have got enough beans in the fry pan add about 1 cup of the bean juice and smash them with a potato smasher.
- salt to taste
washed black beans, water, onion, salt, fresh manteca
