Rice Pudding

  1. Butter a 1.75 Liter pie dish.
  2. Wash rice in cold water.
  3. Drain, put into the pie dish with the milk and let it stand for 30 minutes.
  4. Set the oven on a low heat of around 250F.
  5. Stir in the sugar; sprinkle with nutmeg and flakes of butter.
  6. Cook for 4-5 hours or until the pudding is creamy and brown.
