Strawberry Gelee with White Wine (Strawberry Jello)

  1. Prep: Slice strawberries in half lengthwise.
  2. Place into a bowl.
  3. Coat with sugar and mix lightly to set aside for 30 to 60 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle lemon juice.
  5. Add water in a container.
  6. Shake in the gelatin and let it soak and soften.
  7. Heat wine, water, and sugar in a pot.
  8. When it boils, turn the heat off.
  9. When it cools down slightly, add gelatin and dissolve it fully.
  10. Cool bottom of the pot in ice-cold water until it's only slightly warm.
  11. Add jelly juice in the bowl from Step 2.
  12. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  13. Do so carefully not to damage the strawberries.
  14. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill in the fridge to harden.
  15. Finish!
  16. Scoop it out and arrange into serving glasses.
