Strawberry Gelee with White Wine (Strawberry Jello)
- 300 grams Small strawberries
- 1 tbsp Granulated sugar
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- 5 grams Powdered gelatin
- 3 tbsp Water
- 200 ml White wine
- 200 ml Water
- 3 tbsp Granulated sugar
- Prep: Slice strawberries in half lengthwise.
- Place into a bowl.
- Coat with sugar and mix lightly to set aside for 30 to 60 minutes.
- Sprinkle lemon juice.
- Add water in a container.
- Shake in the gelatin and let it soak and soften.
- Heat wine, water, and sugar in a pot.
- When it boils, turn the heat off.
- When it cools down slightly, add gelatin and dissolve it fully.
- Cool bottom of the pot in ice-cold water until it's only slightly warm.
- Add jelly juice in the bowl from Step 2.
- Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Do so carefully not to damage the strawberries.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill in the fridge to harden.
- Finish!
- Scoop it out and arrange into serving glasses.
