Buttermilk Scones

  1. In a bowl combine flour, cake mix, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. Cut in butter.
  3. Stir in the buttermilk just until combined.
  4. Turn onto a flour surface.
  5. Divide dough in half.
  6. Shape each portion into a ball and pat into a circle.
  7. Cut each circle into six wedges.
  8. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet.
