A.1.-Bacon Mac and Cheese

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Cook pasta in boiling water in saucepan 6 to 8 min.
  3. or just until tender.
  4. Meanwhile, melt 2 Tbsp.
  5. butter in large saucepan on low heat.
  6. Stir in flour; cook and stir 2 min.
  7. or until bubbly.
  8. Gradually stir in milk.
  9. Bring to boil on medium heat, stirring constantly; simmer on medium-low heat 3 to 5 min.
  10. or until thickened, stirring constantly.
  11. Gradually stir in cheese; cook and stir 3 to 5 min.
  12. or until cheese is completely melted and sauce is well blended.
  13. Remove from heat.
  14. Stir in bacon and 1/3 cup A.1.
  15. Drain pasta.
  16. Add to cheese sauce; mix lightly.
  17. Spoon into 2-qt.
  18. casserole sprayed with cooking spray.
  19. Use pulsing action to process bread in food processor until fine crumbs form.
  20. Add remaining butter and A.1.
  21. ; process just until blended.
  22. Sprinkle over pasta mixture.
  23. Bake 20 min.
  24. or until heated through.
