Maitake Diet! Sauteed Maitake Mushrooms and Spinach

  1. Remove the root off the mushrooms to make them easier to eat.
  2. Soak the dried maitake mushrooms in water to rehydrate, then slice in half.
  3. Lightly parboil the spinach in salted water, drain, and tightly squeeze the excess water.
  4. Heat the butter in a frying pan and saute Steps 1 and 2.
  5. Season with salt and pepper and saute for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Finally, add the soy sauce and it's done.
