Baked Feta Cheese Appetizer Recipe
- 1 pkt refrigerated crescent dinner rolls (4 ounce)
- 1 pkt Athenos Traditional Feta Cheese - (8 ounce)
- 1/2 tsp dry oregano
- 1 x egg beaten
- Unroll dough on lightly greased cookie sheet; press seams together to create 12- by 4-inch rectangle.
- Sprinkle feta cheese with oregano; lightly press oregano into feta cheese.
- Place feta cheese, oregano-side up, in center of dough.
- Bring edges of dough up over feta cheese; press edges together to seal, completely enclosing feta cheese.
- Brush with egg.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min or possibly till lightly browned.
- Serve with crackers, French bread or possibly fresh fruit slices.
- This recipe yields 8 servings.
- Great Substitute: Try 1 package (8-ounce) Athenos Feta Cheese with Basil & Tomato, Garlic & Herb or possibly Peppercorn in place of Traditional Feta Cheese.
