Mexican Style Steak Recipe
- 2 pound round steak 1/2" thick (tenderized)
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 2 tbsp. salad oil
- 1 recipe salsa (recipe follows)
- 1 (6 ounce.) can mushrooms (liquid removed & broiled)
- Cut steak into serving pcs.
- Combine flour, salt and a dash of pepper.
- Dredge meat in flour mix.
- Brown meat in warm oil in skillet.
- Place meat in baking dish, cover with 1/2 of salsa mix and cover.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 2 hrs.
- Add in mushrooms; bake 10 min more.
- Skim off excess fat.
- Serve over warm rice with remaining warm salsa sauce.
