Consomme Soup with Penne
- 80 grams Penne (or Macaroni)
- 2 Wiener sausages
- 1/4 Onion
- 1/4 Carrot
- 2 leaves Cabbage or Chinese cabbage
- 2 tbsp Corn
- 2 Consomme soup stock cubes
- 4 tsp ( If you are using consomme granules)
- 600 ml Water
- 1 Salt and pepper
- 2 tsp Soy sauce
- 1 dash Parsley
- Cut the wiener sausages into thin round slices.
- Thinly slice the onion.
- Cut the carrot into thin quarter-round slices.
- Cut the cabbage into bite-sized pieces.
- Cook the penne for 1 minute shorter than the time indicated on the package.
- Add the water and Step 1 ingredients into a pot, and turn on the heat.
- When it starts to boil, add the consomme cubes, and simmer until the vegetables soften.
- Adjust the flavour with ingredients.
- Add the penne to Step 3, briefly stir, and bring to a boil.
- Serve in a bowl, sprinkle with parsley, and done.
