Salsa Patricia
- 2 garlic cloves, peeled
- 1 small red onion, peeled and halved
- 2 jalapeno peppers, quartered
- 2 sprigs fresh cilantro, stems removed
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 2 large beefsteak tomatoes, coarsely chopped
- Place garlic, onion, jalapenos, cilantro, oregano, lime juice, salt and pepper in bowl of food processor.
- Pulse until onion and jalapenos are coarsely chopped.
- Remove to a bowl and stir in tomatoes.
- Mix well.
- Chill for 1/2 hour to blend flavors.
