Komatsuna and Chikuwa Tossed with Sesame Seeds and Mayonnaise
- 2 to 3 stalks Komatsuna
- 1 Chikuwa
- 1 tbsp Ground white sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp Soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Sesame oil
- Chop the komatsuna into 2 cm, put in a heat resistant dish (without draining), sprinkle salt, cover in plastic wrap, then heat for 1.5 minutes 30 in the microwave at 600 W.
- Remove the plastic wrap and chill.
- Cut the chikuwa into thirds, then finely slice lengthwise.
- Squeeze excess water from the komatsuna, then toss with the combined ingredients and the chikuwa.
- It's ready to serve.
- Try it in your bento.
