Dad's Potato Soup

• 1 onion
• 3 -4 lbs potatoes
• 18 cup oil
• 14 cup butter
• 14 cup chicken base
• 12 gallon milk
• 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
• 1 teaspoon black pepper
• salt
• water, to cover potato

1. Brown onions in oil.
2. Add potatoes and cover with water.
3. Add chicken base and butter.
4. Cook on low to medium heat until potatoes are soft.
5. Add everything else.
6. Bring to a boil - ready to serve.
