Haystacks
- 2 pounds Lean Ground Beef
- 1/2 whole Onion, Diced
- 24 ounces, fluid Tomato Sauce
- 2 cans Chili Beans (15 Oz Each)
- 2 cans Enchilada Sauce (10 Oz Each)
- 1- 1/2 teaspoon Chili Powder
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Salt
- 1 teaspoon Salt And Pepper
- 2 bags Fritos Corn Chips (9 Oz Each)
- 3 cups Grated Cheddar Cheese
- 1 head Lettuce Chopped
- 1 whole Onion, Diced
- 1 carton Sour Cream (16 Oz)
- 2 whole Tomatoes, Chopped
- Brown ground beef (add onion if you want).
- Once the beef is browned and the onion is translucent, drain off the fat.
- Then, add all the canned ingredients (tomato sauce, beans and enchilada sauce) and the spices.
- Cook in the crockpot on low for 8 hours.
- To serve, each person puts some Fritos on their plate, then layer with the chili mixture and some cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, onion and sour cream.
