Peach and Brazil Nut Conserve

  1. Place fruit in large saucepan and heat until boiling, taking care not to scorch the fruit.
  2. Add sugar and stir well.
  3. Reheat until boiling again, stirring constantly.
  4. Add Brazil nuts and boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in fruit pectin.
  6. Cool 3 minutes.
  7. Skim, stir well, put into hot jelly glasses and cover with paraffin (wax) to seal.
