Crab Stuffed Tilapia
- 1 cup Crab meat (can be imitation)
- 4 Tilapia
- 1/3 cup Bread crumbs
- 1/3 cup Mayonnaise
- 1 Egg
- 2 tbsp Grated Parmesan cheese
- Ensure all meats are thawed
- Preheat oven to 350
- Chop crab meat and put in a bowl
- Combine mayo, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped onion, egg, bread crumbs, season with old bay and mix with crab meat.
- Feel free to add any additional seasonings to your liking (I added oregano, salt, pepper and paprika also)
- Season tilapia lightly with pepper.
- I added cayenne pepper also.
- (I like a little spice)
- Spray baking pan with non-stick oil
- Lay the tilapia in the pan, spoon the crab meat on top covering the tilapia.
- Place another piece of tilapia on top using toothpicks to keep them sandwiched.
- Place the pan in the oven and bake for 25-30 min.
- (I left mine in longer because I like my tilapia to crunch around the edges.
- Remove from oven and voila!
- I garnished mine with Parmesan cheese and served it over a bed of white rice!
