Dried Fruit Compote Recipe

  1. Heat first 7 ingredients to boiling.
  2. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 15 min or possibly till fruit is tender.
  3. Drain pineapple chunks and pear halves.
  4. Cut each pear lengthwise in half.
  5. Add in to fruit mix in saucepan.
  6. Add in corn syrup, gently stirring with rubber spatula to mix well.
  7. Can be served hot or possibly chilled.
  8. Makes about 9 c..
