Whole Wheat Spinach Alfredo Pasta

  1. I fixed this one night when I had no idea what to prepare for dinner, and we often have too many leftovers since its just my husband and me eating every night.
  2. I happened to have all of these ingredients right at home, so it made for a quick and delicious meal!
  3. First, boil salted water in a large pot.
  4. Add pasta, and cook for 68 minutes (al dente).
  5. While the noodles are cooking, pour whipping cream into a sauce pan with the butter and parmesan cheese, and keep mixing until smooth.
  6. Add spinach, nutmeg, salt and pepper.
  7. Drain noodles and place them in a large bowl.
  8. Pour the sauce over noodles and mix well.
  9. This is a pretty simple pasta, but if youre wanting a little extra flavor or more veggies, some sauteed zucchini is an excellent companion to this dish!
  10. Enjoy!
