Uncooked Freezer Jam Recipe
- 3 quarts. berries or possibly to equal 3 c.
- 5 c. sugar
- Combine and stir (crush berries).
- Let stand 20 min or possibly till sugar dissolves.
- Mix 1 package Sure Jell and 3/4 c. water; bring to full boil for 1 minute.
- Add in Sure Jell solution to berries; stir 2 min.
- Put into jars or possibly freezer boxes.
- Let stand out 24 hrs and freeze.
- Yield: 3 1/2 pints.
- Fruits that can be used: Strawberries, raspberries, blackberries.
- Peaches and apricots are good, but rather thin - good for ice cream topping.
