My Friend Carole's Red Clam Sauce
- 2 (6 1/2 ounce) canschopped clams
- 14 cup olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 12 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 6 -8 fresh jalapenos, finely chopped
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 12 cup dry white wine or 12 cup dry vermouth
- 6 fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1 lb linguine, cooked and drained
- Mix all ingredients in a saucepan.
- Simmer at least 1/2 hour.
- Serve over pasta.
