Green Bean Supreme Casserole

  1. In large skillet, cook onion in butter for about 1 minute, if desired to have onion.
  2. Blend in flour, sugar, salt and pepper. Add milk; cook until thick and bubbly.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Stir in sour cream.
  5. Add beans.
  6. Spread 1/3 of mixture in 1-quart casserole.
  7. Sprinkle with 1/2 of Swiss cheese over beans.
  8. Repeat layers, ending with beans.
  9. Combine crumbs and butter; toss.
  10. Top beans with crumb mixture.
  11. Bake at 400u0b0 for 20 minutes.
  12. Enjoy.
