Aztec Pyramid Avocado Dip Recipe

  1. * Use 3 California Avocados (dark skinned type)
  2. which have been peeledLAYER 1: (Bottom) Mash the avocados and blend in the lemon juice, mixing well, and spread proportionately in a bowl or possibly on a serving plate to the edges of the dish.
  3. LAYER 2: Beat the cream cheese till smooth and creamy.
  4. Blend in the lowfat sour cream, mixing well, and blend in the taco seasoning, blending well.
  5. Spread over the avocado layer.
  6. LAYER 3: Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the cream cheese mix.
  7. LAYER 4: Distribute the tomatoes over the cheddar cheese layer.
  8. LAYER 5: Spread the green onions over the tomato layer.
  9. LAYER 6: Top with the black olives.
  10. Serve at room temperature.
  11. Makes about 10 1/2 c. of dip.
  12. SUGGESTED DIPPERS: Tortilla Chips, Bell peppers, Lobster, Jicama
