24 Hour Green Salad Recipe
- 1 head lettuce, torn and liquid removed
- 1 c. Minced celery
- 1/2 c. Minced green pepper
- 1 pkt Frzn peas (don't thaw)
- 1 pt Hellmann's mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp. Sugar
- 4 ounce Parmesan cheese
- 8 slc Bacon, fried and crumbled
- Layer lettuce, celery, pepper, then frzn peas.
- Break and crumble over the above another layer of lettuce.
- Spread mayonnaise over top - spreading completely to edge to seal.
- Sprinkle sugar over mayonnaise, then cheese, then bacon.
- Don't cover.
- Chill overnight.
- Don't toss.
- Let guests serve from the bowl.
