Persimmon Cookies Recipe

  1. Beat pulp, soda, sugar and shortening till creamy.
  2. Add in flour, egg, and sifted spices, nuts, and raisins.
  3. Stir till well blended.
  4. Drop by tablespoonful on greased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 min.
  6. Yields 4 1/2 to 5 dozen.
