Plantation Shrimp with Rice
- 1 x nonstick cooking spray butter flavored
- 2 pounds shrimp raw, peeled
- 3/4 cup onions chopped
- 1/4 cup scallions, spring or green onions chopped
- 1/2 cup sweet red bell peppers chopped
- 1 pound mushrooms sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter buds liquid
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 2 each bay leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 18 teaspoon parsley leaves
- 2 cups rice, cooked
- Saute onions, bell pepper and mushrooms in a skillet that has been sprayed with butter flavored cooking spray until vegetables are just tender.
- Stir in black pepper, garlic powder, liquid butter Buds and bay leaves.
- Add shrimp and cook until shrimp turn pink.
- Mix in warm rice.
- Let sit for a few minutes before serving.
- Remove bay leaves.
- Sprinkle with parsley.
