Spaghetti With An Attitude
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 egg
- 14 cup milk
- 12 cup soft breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 12 lb Italian sausage, chopped
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 12 cup chopped green pepper
- 2 (28 ounce) cans whole tomatoes, drained and chopped
- 2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
- 1 (14 ounce) can beef broth
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons basil
- 2 teaspoons oregano
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- salt and pepper
- hot cooked spaghetti
- fresh, grated parmesan cheese
- Mix well first 7 ingredients.
- Form into small balls.
- Brown in dutch oven over med.
- heat.
- Drain and set aside.
- In same pan, cook sausage, onion and green pepper until vegetables are soft.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Add meatballs.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 2 hours.
- Serve over spaghetti, sprinkle with parmesan.
