Breakfast Shake (Alias Kp's Breakfast On The Run!) Recipe
- 8 ounce Lowfat milk
- 1 cube tofu (optional), (1 inch)
- 1/4 c. Any flavor yogurt or possibly use plain yogurt and a fresh banana, strawberries, peaches or possibly whatever fruit you have
- Tofu makes it frothy and thick.
- Place all ingredients in blender.
- Blend for 1 minute or possibly till frothy.
- It's a great "breakfast-on-the-run".
- Try using 1/3 c. lowfat milk and 2/3 c. orange juice with plain yogurt.
- Or possibly substitute a raw egg for the yogurt.
- (Either supply you with the protein you need to start the day.)
- Add in a whole grain muffin (carbohydrates) to keep you going well past lunch time.
