Molasses Barbecue Sauce

  1. Combine all ingredients in heavy large saucepan.
  2. Boil until reduced to 1 1/2 cups, stirring occasionally, about 20 minutes.
  3. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  4. (Can be prepared 1 day ahead.
  5. Cover and chill.
  6. Bring to simmer before serving.)
