Mutton Rogan Josh
- 2 piece Black Cardamom powder
- 500 1/2 grams goat meat..
- 2 stick Cinnamon powder
- 4 piece Green Cardamom powder
- 1 pinch Afoesida(heeng)
- 2 Bay leaf
- 1 cup curd
- 3 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
- 1 tbsp Fennel seeds powder
- 1 tbsp Dried Ginger Powder
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tsp salt (or as ur taste)
- 4 tbsp Ghee or Vegetable oil
- Wash Mutton pieces n marinate with all ingredients except Bay leaf and ghee.. Keep for 2 hours.
- Now take a heavy bottom saucepan.
- Heat ghee or oil.
- Add Bay leaf.
- Fry for two minutes.
- Now add marinated Mutton.
- Cook in low flame.
- Stir occasionally.
- Cook till Meat left it's bones and release oil.
- Now add two cups water.
- Now in high flame.
- When it's starts to boil.
- Do flame low.
- Check it Mutton is soft now.
- It's done.
- Serve with steamed rice or Indian flat bread.
