Homemade Turkey Stock

  1. Melt butter in 8-quart saucepan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add carrot, celery and onion.
  3. Cook, stirring occasionally, 5-7 minutes or until browned.
  4. Add all remaining ingredients; continue cooking 10-12 minutes or until mixtures comes to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat to low; cook, uncovered, 2 1/2-3 hours or until liquid is slightly reduced.
  6. Strain mixture through fine wire mesh strainer.
  7. Set aside to cool.
  8. Skim and discard fat.
  9. Discard all solids.
