Perfect Pumpkin Bread Recipe
- 2 2/3 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. butter (softened)
- 2 c. (1 can) pumpkin
- 4 Large eggs
- 2/3 c. water
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon grnd cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon salt (optional)
- 2/3 c. raisins (optional)
- 2/3 c. nuts (optional)
- Cream sugar and butter.
- Stir in pumpkin, Large eggs, water, raisins and nuts.
- Blend in dry ingredients (stir with fork before adding to pumpkin).
- Bake in 2 loaf pans at 350 for 1 hour.
- Freezes well.
