Crock pot oxtail stew

  1. Score Oxtail all around and rub 2 Tablespoons of Italian season all over and into Oxtail coat in flour and place in a pan with heated oil add 2 cloves of crushed garlic and braze Oxtail on all sides
  2. Place brazed Oxtail into crockpot with tomatoes , onion , potatoes, carrots and the garlic used to braze the Oxtail
  3. Add remainder of Italian seasoning bay leaves , and water to crock pot
  4. Set crockpot on low for 8 hours
  5. About half way through make a rue with the oil from brazing and a Quarter cup of flour.
  6. Should be a thick paste if to wet ad more flour if dry add more oil.
  7. Add rue to the stew and continue to cook
