Crock pot oxtail stew
- 2 lb Oxtail
- 4 tbsp Itilian seasoning
- 2 clove garlic cloves
- 4 medium potatoes quarted
- 1 large onion quarted
- 1 quart tomatoes
- 2 bay leaf
- 1 cup flour
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp celery salt
- 2 cup water
- 1/2 packages of baby carrot
- Score Oxtail all around and rub 2 Tablespoons of Italian season all over and into Oxtail coat in flour and place in a pan with heated oil add 2 cloves of crushed garlic and braze Oxtail on all sides
- Place brazed Oxtail into crockpot with tomatoes , onion , potatoes, carrots and the garlic used to braze the Oxtail
- Add remainder of Italian seasoning bay leaves , and water to crock pot
- Set crockpot on low for 8 hours
- About half way through make a rue with the oil from brazing and a Quarter cup of flour.
- Should be a thick paste if to wet ad more flour if dry add more oil.
- Add rue to the stew and continue to cook
