Cheesy Stuffing-Topped French Onion Soup

  1. Cook onions in butter in large saucepan on medium heat 10 min.
  2. or until golden brown, stirring frequently.
  3. Stir in broth, water and thyme.
  4. Bring to boil; simmer on medium-low heat 5 min.
  5. Heat broiler.
  6. Ladle soup into 4 large ovenproof bowls; top with stuffing mix and cheese.
  7. Broil 2 to 3 min.
  8. or until cheese is melted.
