Tia's Spicy Crock Pot Taco Soup
- 1 lb hamburger
- 15 ounces black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (16 ounce) can chili beans (hot)
- 1 (16 ounce) can dark red kidney beans
- 1 (11 ounce) can corn (or frozen)
- 1 (16 ounce) jar salsa (medium)
- 2 (15 1/2 ounce) cans diced tomatoes with jalapenos
- 2 tablespoons Hidden Valley Original Ranch Dressing (bottled kind)
- 1 tablespoon garlic
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 (14 ounce) can beef broth
- 1 (16 ounce) can refried beans, spicy
- 14 teaspoon cumin
- 14 teaspoon dried chipotle powder (optional)
- 1 (14 ounce) can chickpeas
- 4 teaspoons taco seasoning mix (I use McCormick brand hot)
- Cook hamburger, onions and garlic till meat is browned.
- Drain well.
- Add all ingredients to the crock pot.
- Stir well.
- Cook on high for 1 hour then low for 2 hours.
- Keep on warm to keep hot.
- Can garnish with the following:.
- tortilla chips.
- sour cream.
- shredded cheese.
- chopped green onions.
