Easy to make herbed bread loaf
- 2 cup All-purpose flour
- 3 tsp Dry yeast
- 1 tsp Granulated sugar
- 1 tsp Dried thyme
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 6 clove Garlic (crushed)
- 1 Green chilly (crushed)
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1/4 tsp Dried basil
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 small onion
- 1 small tomatoes
- 1 small Capsicum
- Take warm water, add sugar and sprinkle dry yeast over it.
- Cover it and keep it aside for 10 minutes or until frothy.
- Combine flour, herbs, salt, garlic and chilly paste.
- Add yeast mixture and mix well.
- Knead to an elastic and sticky dough.
- Take a large bowl and put the dough in and coat it with oil all over.
- Cover the bowl with a cling wrap.
- Prove it for 3 hours.
- After the dough has doubled up, put it in a loaf tin.
- Spread thin roundels of capsicum, tomato, onion and olives for topping
- Bake in a preheated oven at 430F/210C for 12-15 minutes or until crust is golden.
