Evies African Chow Mein
- 1 cup Celery, Chopped
- 1 whole Onion, Chopped
- 1- 1/2 pound Hamburger
- 1 can (10.75 Oz. Size) Cream Of Mushroom Soup
- 1 can (10.75 Oz. Size) Chicken Rice Soup
- 2 cans Water (Use The Soup Can To Measure)
- 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 1/2 cups Rice, Uncooked
- 2 cups Chow Mein Noodles
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Chop the celery and the onion.
- Add to hamburger and brown all together.
- In a mixing bowl, mix together the mushroom soup, chicken rice soup, water, soy sauce, and rice.
- When hamburger is browned and the onion and celery are translucent, add all to the mixture in the bowl.
- Mix well.
- Pour into a greased casserole pan.
- Bake uncovered for 1 hour.
- Take casserole out of oven and sprinkle the chow mein noodles over the top.
- Place casserole back in the oven for 15 more minutes.
- Remove from oven and let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
