Barbecue Pork Recipe
- Pork tenderloin
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 teaspoon Chinese 5-spice
- 1 tbsp. dry sherry
- 1/4 c. catsup
- 1/4 c. honey
- Salt meat well and set aside.
- Mix soy sauce, sugar, 5-spice and sherry in small bowl.
- Pour marinade over meat and marinate for at least 2 hrs.
- Mix glaze of catsup and honey.
- Brush one side of meat with glaze.
- In bottom of roasting pan, put 1 inch water and rack which will keep meat above water.
- In 175 degree oven, roast meat for 25 min, then turn meat over and glaze other side.
- Roast another 35 min.
- Be sure meat doesn't touch water.
