Heavenly Chocolate Sauce
- 12 cup butter
- 4 (1 ounce) unsweetened chocolate squares
- 3 cups sugar
- 13 ounces evaporated milk
- 12 teaspoon salt
- Melt butter and chocolate in top of a double boiler; stir in remaining ingredients.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring till sugar is dissolved and sauce is smooth.
- Serve warm over ice cream.
- Add toppings like chopped nuts or candy sprinkles.
