Strawberry Angel Trifle

  1. Prepare strawberry Jell-O according to package directions. Refrigerate until the consistency of syrup.
  2. Slice cake in thin serving pieces and line bottom of 13 x 9-inch glass pan.
  3. Layer partially thawed strawberries on cake; pour syrupy Jell-O over top.
  4. Refrigerate until firm.
  5. Prepare vanilla pudding according to package directions, using 2 3/4 cups milk instead of 3 cups. Cool pudding and spread on Jell-O - strawberry layer.
  6. Refrigerate 2 to 4 hours.
  7. Cover with whipped cream and nuts.
  8. Makes 10 to 12 servings.
