Beans In Wine Recipe
- 1 1/2 c. red beans soaked overnight sauteeing liquid
- 2 x cloves garlic minced
- 1 x red pepper sliced
- 1 c. red wine
- 1 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 1 x bay leaf salt and pepper to taste
- Cook beans in unsalted water till just tender.
- Drain.
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Saute/fry onion, garlic and pepper till soft.
- Add in beans, wine, tomato paste, and bay leaf; season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer to casserole and bake 45 min.
