Soy Sauce and Garlic Pickled Shiso Leaves

  1. Thinly slice the garlic.
  2. Place the shiso leaves in a Tupperware container, then add the soy sauce, cooking sake, and sliced garlic.
  3. Put the container in the fridge to soak.
  4. This photo shows how the leaves should look after 1 day of soaking.
  5. Wrap onigiri rice balls with them, or mince them to make a condiment for other dishes.
