Soy Sauce and Garlic Pickled Shiso Leaves
- 10 leaves Shiso leaves
- 1/2 clove Garlic
- 50 ml Usukuchi soy sauce
- 1/2 tbsp Cooking sake
- Thinly slice the garlic.
- Place the shiso leaves in a Tupperware container, then add the soy sauce, cooking sake, and sliced garlic.
- Put the container in the fridge to soak.
- This photo shows how the leaves should look after 1 day of soaking.
- Wrap onigiri rice balls with them, or mince them to make a condiment for other dishes.
