Scalloped Potatoes with Pork Chops
- 1 pound Russet Potatoes
- 1/4 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 18 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 2 cups 2% Milk
- 3 Tablespoons Butter
- 4 Pork Chops
- Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Peel and thinly slice the potatoes.
- Butter a 2 quart baking dish.
- Put sliced potatoes in dish.
- Sprinkle with flour, salt and pepper.
- Toss together in the baking dish.
- Pour milk over the mixture.
- Dot with pieces of butter.
- Brown the chops in a skillet over medium heat (just until both sides are browned they will cook more in the oven), and then place them on top of the potatoes.
- Cover and bake for 45 minutes.
- Uncover, and bake 15 minutes more.
