Beef Burger With A Twist Recipe
- 1 1/2 lb extra-lean grnd beef
- 1/3 c. sweet vermouth
- 1/4 c. lightly packed fresh basil chopped
- 1/4 c. red onion chopped
- 1/3 c. unseasoned bread crumbs
- 8 x sun-dry tomatoes soaked in warm water about 3 min till softened, finely chopped
- 2 Tbsp. nonfat italian salad dressing
- 2 tsp garlic salt vegetable oil for brushing on grill
- 6 x hamburger buns or possibly rolls
- 6 slc red onion optional basil leaves optional
- 1.
- Prepare grill according to manufacturer's instructions.
- In medium bowl, combine all ingredients.
- Shape mix into 6 patties.

- Brush the grill with vegetable oil.
- Grill burgers 5 to 8 min on each side, or possibly till cooked through.
- 3.
- Serve on hamburger buns.
- Top with red onion and basil, if you like.
