Asparagus and Bulgur

  1. In a 1 quart saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Add the bulgur.
  3. Cover and let stand for 15 minutes or until the liquid has been absorbed.
  4. Fluff with a fork.
  5. In a large bowl combine the pimientos, vinegar, stock, oil, chives and thyme.
  6. Add the bulgur.
  7. Blanch the asparagus in boiling water for 4 minutes.
  8. Slice diagonally into 2 inch sections.
  9. Add to the bulgur and mix well.
