Japanese Style Steak Sauce
- 2 tbsp Water
- 2 tbsp Sake
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 grated Garlic
- 1 optional Grated daikon radish
- 1 Katakuriko slurry
- Put the ingredients into a frying pan and turn the heat down to very low, just enough to cook off the alcohol.
- Taste it.
- If it's too thick, add some water.
- After it comes to a boil again, let it simmer and it's complete.
- You can also use grated daikon radish or pour in some katakuriko slurry to thicken.
- It also tastes so delicious when poured over a Japanese-style hamburger For this, I used the grated daikon radish separately!
- I added some katakuriko slurry to make the sauce thick.
