Lucy's Orange Rolls Recipe

  1. Stir yeast in water.
  2. Stir in 1/4 c. sugar, salt, Large eggs, lowfat sour cream and 6 Tbsp.
  3. butter.
  4. Gradually add in flour to create stiff dough, beating well.
  5. Cover, let rise 2 hrs or possibly till double.
  6. Combine 3/4 c. sugar, 3/4 c. coconut and orange rind.
  7. Knead dough on well floured board about 15 times.
  8. Roll half of dough to a 12" circle.
  9. Brush with 1 Tbsp.
  10. butter.
  11. Sprinkle with half of coconut mix.
  12. Cut into 12 wedges.
  13. Roll up like a crescent roll and repeat with rest.
  14. Place rolls so point end is down in 3 rows in a greased 9"x13" pan.
  15. Cover.
  16. Let rise about 1 hour.
  17. Bake for 25 to 30 min at 350 degrees.
  18. Makes 2 dozen rolls.
  19. Leave in pan, top with glaze.
  20. Sprinkle with 1/4 c. coconut
