Vickys Sticky Apple & Sausage Bake
- 8 slice bacon
- 8 gluten-free pork sausages
- 1 tbsp oil
- 2 red apples, cut into wedges
- Preheat the oven to gas 7 / 220C / 450F
- Heat the oil in a frying pan
- Wrap a slice of bacon around each sausage and brown off in the pan
- Transfer the sausages to a roasting tin and put in the oven for 20 minutes, turning once halfway though.
- If your pan is ovenproof, just use that instead of dirtying a tin
- Add the apple wedges to the tin and roast a further 10 minutes until the apples are caramelized and the sausages are cooked through
- Serve with mashed potato and seasonal veg
