Bacon, Cheese, and Spinach Stuffed Turkey Loaf

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. For filling:.
  3. Heat olive oil over medium high heat.
  4. Add spinach and garlic.
  5. Cook until spinach is wilted.
  6. Transfer to a cutting board.
  7. When cool, chop the spinach.
  8. Combine chopped spinach, cooked turkey bacon, sharp cheddar cheese, and softened cream cheese.
  9. Set filling aside.
  10. For loaf:.
  11. Combine ground turkey, egg, green peppers, zucchini, cheddar French-fried onions (crushed), Worcestershire sauce, mustard, ketchup, salt and pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes if using.
  12. In a wax paper lined, 9 x 13 pan, pat out the turkey mixture.
  13. Top with the filling mixture.
  14. Roll jelly-roll style.
  15. Seal the ends.
  16. Bake for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes until browned.
  17. Let sit for about five minutes.
  18. Slice and serve.
